“… Wireless Guitar Devices But Heard They Were Any Good. A Friend allow me to Try His Ammoon Bug …”

Ive tried a few distinct brands of wireless guitar apparatus but never felt they were any good. A friend allow me to try his Ammoon bug on my bass guitar and I was very astounded at their own transparency. That night I ordered a set for myself. My buddy said the batteries would only last about 3 hours so that I purchased a rechargeable batteries and a smart charger. My first experience revealed the transmitter batteries needed replacing after 2 1/2 hours but the receiver batteries were still strong. BTW each device takes 3 AAA batteries. The other aspect to consider is there isn’t any guarantee supplied. For the money you cant find a much better value. I gave 4 stars because of no guarantee.

“Great Inexpensive Wireless. ”

Works really well. A bit bulky on the output jack (requires careful use or extending using a M-F cable to fasten it on the guitar strap so its out of the way) Requires 6 AAA batteries (3 in each) and battery life is about 3-3.5 hours. Broadcast distance is between 30-50 ft. when moving through house walls (sheet rock). Line of sight space with fresh batteries is about 80-100 ft. The more the distance the quicker the batteries run out.I use it largely to practice with bass guitar and not have to be concerned about stepping on cables. My clinic area is about 20 ft. in space (at the most) so this is very convenient. Im usually never greater than 10 ft. from the receiver. Have not noticed any problems with TONE degradation, due to electronic signal.Im very pleased with the buy.

“Ditch You Cable, And Join The 21St Century! ”

Works great to get a guitar, however, I highly suggest having an expansion cable (3ft/1m) to plug on every one. . Enabling you to place the units out of harms way. This way you can put the transmitter in your back pocket, and hide it from the crowd, and avoid accidentally hitting on it. I use another to hang the receiver over the front of my amp instead of leaving it sticking out of this input jack.Range is decent, but I occasionally get some static interference when walking around, if a thing is between you and the recipient. This is nothing any of those other (more expensive) vhf units dont additionally do.If you’re a professional who’s making a living playing on point, your probably going to want to have a uhf setup instead, as they have a tendency to have less interference and cross-channel visitors, but if you play for the love of the art, and people on a budget, this is a great way to ditch your cable nightmares.

“I Am Satisfied With The Range You Can Play Away From The …”

These worked well but its too early to talk on battery life. I’m happy with the stove one could play away from the pa unit. I think that it was picking up at approximately twenty feet away in the house that’s good enough to get a church services.
